This two-storey house with an attic was created to accommodate two families. The placement of the building within the special morphological plot, as well as its complex structure stand out in the existing landscape.
The composition consists of rectangular volumes that intertwine with each other in height. Two zones of main use are distinguished, while centrally connected with areas of supplementary function. The facade impresses with the intermediate white zone of floating cubes. The openings, large οr small, are created mirror-like along the central axis of the building.
The ground floor houses one of the two families, with independent access. The main areas, the living room with the dining room and the open kitchen, are developed towards the central corner of the building, while at the back there is the bathroom and the bedroom. In the right part is installed the parking space and auxiliary rooms. Access to the second level is provided by an independent staircase and elevator created at the core of the structure. This second level dwelling is divided into two-room and two-bedrooms with a bathroom on either side of the central axis. The attic above the floor hosts a free space with an office, storage and bathroom, as well as providing access to the roof.
As carefully as the interior of the building has been designed, so did the rest of the exterior space, with equal sensitivity. The aim is to shift the dwelling to the outdoor facilities, such as the swimming pool, lounge area and outdoor kitchen. Overall, the whole composition of the building reflects the interaction between the practical needs of the users and the desire for aesthetic pleasure, achieving a strong, functional and beautiful architectural presence in the space.
